For forty-seven years I had no problem hooking the water hose to the spigot on the outside of my home. The last three years it has been a difficult task. This year it seemed impossible for me to do.

For some reason whomever installed the spigot put it very near to the ground. To connect the hose I have to bend over way low.
At my age being in that position is not a good idea. After a while I get dizzy and feel as if I am falling forward. That is something I for sure do not want to do.
My lawn was needing water badly so I prayed and asked the Lord to somehow help me to connect the hose.
The first try it seemed to have connected. I turned on the water…the end of the hose fell to the ground and water was flowing out of the spigot on to the ground.
“Well that didn’t work.” I said out loud. “Okay, Lord I am going to try this again, so here we go.” After several more tries it still did not connect so I said “Okay I just give up.” My hips and knees were hurting and I was dizzy.
I pitched the end of the hose upon the step. I stood still until the dizziness went away. Then I said “No, Lord I asked you to help me and we are going to get that hose connected and the lawn watered.”
After trying a couple more times to connect the hose it connected.
“Okay, Lord thank you so much.” I proceeded to water the lawn.
I talk to the Lord as if he was sitting or standing next to me. We do everything together. He has never let me down from helping with the simplest things to the most difficult that I do.
Prayers are not always answered when and how we would like them to be, but they are answered. The Lord knows what is best for us.
So don’t give up the answers will come.
