The last few weeks have been busy ones, but I still found time to notice the blessings.
After several days with cold and rain we finally briefly had a little sunshine. I spotted this little cutie eating an acorn. He would scurry out in the sun to get an acorn then go to the shade and eat it.
A beautiful male Northern Cardinal came to visit and he was watching me at the window.
My daughter made this little cake for me. It is gluten free with lemon glaze. It was only a little over 6 inches in diameter. It made 4 perfect slices and they were yummy.
I worked this jigsaw puzzle a week or so ago. I ordered more and they have been delivered.
I worked this one last night. I love birds and this was a fun puzzle to work. The colors are amazing.
I hope all of you have been doing well.
Thank you for stopping by. Love, hugs and blessings everyone. Stay well and safe.
After several repairs being needed at my place beginning at the end of august and lasting off and on through last weekend…the calm and peace has now arrived.
I am so thankful for everyone that came to help in my time of need. Friendly, nice, caring people came and what a blessing that was. They all went above and beyond what was needed of them.
A couple of days ago I decided to work a jigsaw puzzle. The first one I have worked in over a year.
It was a small one so it didn’t take long to work it. I thought it was a pretty scene and that is why I chose it.
My neighbors gave me a large peace lily plant that I hope I can keep alive and beautiful. I took out the dead leaves and the four acorns that had fallen in it. I didn’t want to find little oak trees growing in it. :)
They had taken the plant inside for the winter. Their new kitten was climbing in it. After finding out the plant is poisonous to cats they asked if I would like to have it.
It has put on two new blooms and I noticed yesterday that another one has started. So far all is going well with it.
We finally got some much needed rain and I am thankful for that. It would not have been good going into winter with the ground so dry.
I know some of you are getting way more rain than you need and I hope it stops for you soon.
Have a blessed and wonderful new week. All who celebrate Thanksgiving I wish for you a wonderful day however you choose to spend it.
Thanks for stopping by. All visits, likes and comments are appreciated.
Love, hugs and blessings to all.
