The last few days I have seen several beautiful robins in my yard. I am always happy to see them after the winter’s cold weather. The last two days were beautiful with sunshine and the temperature in the mid to upper 70’s.
It is nice to see green grass and spring plants beginning to show up.
Today I noticed that the mock pomegranate bush is beginning to leaf out. The azalea will be in bloom soon. I hope it is as beautiful this year as it was last year.
My son-in-law pruned the crepe myrtles. I am anxious to see how they look when they bloom later.
Have a great Friday and weekend everyone. Hugs and blessings.
After several repairs being needed at my place beginning at the end of august and lasting off and on through last weekend…the calm and peace has now arrived.
I am so thankful for everyone that came to help in my time of need. Friendly, nice, caring people came and what a blessing that was. They all went above and beyond what was needed of them.
A couple of days ago I decided to work a jigsaw puzzle. The first one I have worked in over a year.
It was a small one so it didn’t take long to work it. I thought it was a pretty scene and that is why I chose it.
My neighbors gave me a large peace lily plant that I hope I can keep alive and beautiful. I took out the dead leaves and the four acorns that had fallen in it. I didn’t want to find little oak trees growing in it. :)
They had taken the plant inside for the winter. Their new kitten was climbing in it. After finding out the plant is poisonous to cats they asked if I would like to have it.
It has put on two new blooms and I noticed yesterday that another one has started. So far all is going well with it.
We finally got some much needed rain and I am thankful for that. It would not have been good going into winter with the ground so dry.
I know some of you are getting way more rain than you need and I hope it stops for you soon.
Have a blessed and wonderful new week. All who celebrate Thanksgiving I wish for you a wonderful day however you choose to spend it.
Thanks for stopping by. All visits, likes and comments are appreciated.
