I’ve always believed that everyone is born with a purpose in life. As far back as I can remember I wanted to be a mother and have many babies. Also I had the dream of being a nurse.
After living half my life and being miserable and unhappy most of the time. I finally found the path to my purpose in life. My purpose and dreams did not come in the way I thought they would but they did come.
I was blessed with many children and some needed the care of nurses and doctors. I did not attend nursing school, but I was taught by wonderful nurses and doctors how to care for those children at home that saved us from many doctor and hospital trips.
Over the years of caring for the children I learned how to love and let go, forgive and love everyone though it is hard to do sometimes, and many other things.
The most important thing that I learned was to trust God to help me because I had no clue how to even begin on this new journey in life. Once I realized he trusted me to do what my purpose was or he would not have given me the desire for them I was good to go.
Now in my later years in life I am blessed with peace and joy after doing what I was born to do in this life. I am so grateful for everyone placed in my life to teach and help me over the years.
If you have not found your purpose I pray you do and know the peace and joy that comes along with it when you act on it. Be blessed.
I do not participate in the daily or weekly prompts, but one of the prompts I saw encouraged me to do this post.
