As requested

When I wrote about the hobby I miss the most there were requests that I post more photos. I didn’t think I had any more to post.

I was going through photos today looking for some that my son had asked for. As I was going through the photos I found this poster.

Sorry that it is blurry. This is a photo of one of the drawings I did for a class at our local school.

I did several for them. I drew some sea creatures about the same time that I drew this one. I either didn’t take a photo of it or it has disappeared to I know not where.

I wish I had taken photos of all that I drew.

These are really great. Have you considered making stickers out of them? All you need to do is buy sticker paper and then print them off on the sticker paper.

Thank you for your kind words. No I had not thought of that. This is my first time hearing that stickers can be made from them.

Those are fantastic, Maggie. You really have talent!!! You just have to find some way to hold those pencils/ crayons/markers/ pens whatever. Maybe you could fashion some sort of large bulky handles for them so that your hand could grasp them without pain.

Thank you, Vero. It is not the pain so much as it is the cramping and getting my fingers to move correctly. I have lost some feeling in my fingers. It is really not easy to explain why it is difficult to draw any longer. I appreciate you trying to help. Hugs ❤️

        I understand!
I feel really fortunate to have so far retained full use of my hands. I don’t know what I would do or how I would handle it if I lost it!♥

It just stinks when I want to do some things and can’t but I am thankful I can still do enough to enjoy life. Keep enjoying dear Vero. Hugs

It’s wonderful that you can still enjoy a lot. I hope it improves or that the medical people find a solution.

I am sorry that you had to quit drawing. I hate to be ‘that person’, but have you tried collagen supplements? They have done wonders for my hands and they are supposed to be helpful for arthritis. (I was never diagnosed with arthritis but my hands had been stiff and sore since my twenties. I struggled with anything that required dexterity.)

Thank you, Anne. No I have not tried Collagen supplements. I do take vitamins and other supplements and for the most part eat a healthy diet. I have some nerve issues and I think that is what causes most of what I can no longer do. I am so happy for you and how you have improved your health. You look absolutely fabulous.

Thank you, Mags! Nerve issues does not sound good. I hope it is not a painful condition. 🥺💞

That is really nice, Mags. How old were you when you did these for class? I guess it was for a science class project? It is colorful, and has such a variety of colors and types in it.

Thank you. I was in my 40’s. I only did artwork for the classes my children were in at the time. Mostly for kindergarten through 6th grade. I drew what the teachers requested. Thank you for your nice comment. I really enjoyed drawing back then.

😂Thank you for the laugh. I didn’t start drawing until I was in my 30’s and continued for several years. I mostly drew and painted for family and friends after the children’s school days.

I’m getting lumpy joints too, but up to a point we can force ourselves to do things. I suppose there comes a point when it isn’t worth it anymore.

Thank you and they were fun to do. I wish I could still draw, but arthritic fingers hinder my trying.
