Over the last two weeks or so I have managed to make a few oopsies.
I will only mention the ones I remember right now. I am sure there were more.
My gown didn’t feel right one evening as I was dressing for bed. When I checked I found that it was on inside out.
One morning I couldn’t get my hands in the pockets of my dress. I discovered the dress was on backward. Pockets serve their purpose better when ones dress is not on backwards. π
I have managed to hit the edge of a door and bruise a toe, the same toe twice. π
On the other foot I kicked (not on purpose) the leg of a stool and bruised a toe. Those oopsies brought back memories of when we were foster parents. I broke both of my little toes several times by hitting them on highchair legs. My toes have been abused…bless them!
I like going barefoot in the house, but since I seem to be in a toe bruising mode maybe I should put on my shoes.
Now for the blessing…
My dear son-in-law built new steps and railings on my front porch. He custom built them to meet my needs.
He also made some changes on one of the ramps so I could more easily get to the backyard from the front yard.
Now I can get off and on the porch safely and much easier. What a blessing it is to have him and all he does to make my life easier.
Hoping for a wonderful new week for everyone.
Hugs and blessings to each of you. Thank you for visiting my blog.

Lovely to catch up with your posts, Mags. Maybe it would be a good idea to erar slippers indoors? xxxx

You seem to have a lovely son-in-law, Mags. How wonderful. I find myself whacking and hitting my toes more often now, unfortunately. Sigh. I wish you a good week ahead, too. π Cheers.

Back in February I went to a birthday party for my ex-mother-in-law. When I got home I realized I had my sweater on backwards. Hugs and blessing to you, my friend.

When I got up the morning, Dan mentioned that my nightgown was inside out. π At least I am done walking into work meetings in shoes that don’t match. Bless your son-in-law! Skilled and accommodating. π Have a good week Mags! π€

It is good to be retired and it is quite alright if we sleep in our gown inside out isn’t it Anne. You gave me a laugh with the shoes. My son-in-law is very talented and a blessing for sure. Have a wonderful day my friend. Hugs β€οΈ

Funny and sweet indeed, Mags! I have put my T shirts on backwards and inside out. Oops. I hope you don’t need steel-toe boots to protect your tootsies! πβ€οΈ

I need to slow down and do as well walking as I did driving. π My poor toes have been broken or bruised so many times they must think it is normal. πGlad to know you are keeping me company in the oops. π
