Oopsies and a blessing

Over the last two weeks or so I have managed to make a few oopsies.

I will only mention the ones I remember right now. I am sure there were more.

My gown didn’t feel right one evening as I was dressing for bed. When I checked I found that it was on inside out.

One morning I couldn’t get my hands in the pockets of my dress. I discovered the dress was on backward. Pockets serve their purpose better when ones dress is not on backwards. 😊

I have managed to hit the edge of a door and bruise a toe, the same toe twice. πŸ˜’

On the other foot I kicked (not on purpose) the leg of a stool and bruised a toe. Those oopsies brought back memories of when we were foster parents. I broke both of my little toes several times by hitting them on highchair legs. My toes have been abused…bless them!

I like going barefoot in the house, but since I seem to be in a toe bruising mode maybe I should put on my shoes.

Now for the blessing…

My dear son-in-law built new steps and railings on my front porch. He custom built them to meet my needs.

He also made some changes on one of the ramps so I could more easily get to the backyard from the front yard.

Now I can get off and on the porch safely and much easier. What a blessing it is to have him and all he does to make my life easier.

Hoping for a wonderful new week for everyone.

Hugs and blessings to each of you. Thank you for visiting my blog.

I am doing better about wearing them, but it is not easy in the summertime.

Funny and sweet indeed, Mags! I have put my T shirts on backwards and inside out. Oops. I hope you don’t need steel-toe boots to protect your tootsies! πŸ˜‚β€οΈ

I need to slow down and do as well walking as I did driving. πŸ˜‚ My poor toes have been broken or bruised so many times they must think it is normal. πŸ˜‚Glad to know you are keeping me company in the oops. 😊

This was a mix of funny and sweet, Mags. We have all had some kind of oopsie. The son in law fixing steps and ramps was a lovely blessing. May your week be full of blessings.
