I walked outside and…

This morning I walked out on the porch and this is what I saw in the front yard.

I was so happy to see the first blooms in my yard this year.

This is the hydrangea that the freeze was not kind to. I am happy to be seeing green leaves. I don’t know if it will bloom this year, but I am happy to see that it has survived.

Hugs and blessing to all and thank you to all of the new followers to my blog.

Aww, that is sweet of you to do that sweet Zenith. I appreciate your thoughtfulness, but I have to decline participating. I did that years ago and it got too much for me. I am way too old now. Thank you anyway sweet Zenith, hugs.

Those azaleas are always so great to see. So abundant and flowing with spring life! It’s great to see that your hydrangea is growing. It’s only the beginning of April so I would say that you have a good chance of some blooms. Maybe only one or two, but it’s showing roughly the same amount of growth that the local ones here are showing that were also pruned late last autumn. Cheers.

You have been a great help Lynette with what to do with the hydrangea. I found a video that recommended the same thing that you did. Thank you, so much. Hugs

What a nice surprise! My azalea is just showing the first signs of wanting to bloom, but nothing like yours yet. Good to see the green bits on the hydrangea. Looks like it will survive. If it doesn’t bloom this year, that’s too bad but I’m sure it will make up for it next year. Don’t give up on it yet, though.

What a beautiful azalea (or is it a rhododendron?) I’m happy to see signs of life in your hydrangea. Happy April, Mags :)

It is an azalea. I am happy too about the hydrangea, I had a lot of bloggers help with ideas and found a video that agreed with a lot of the ideas. Happy April to you Jean.
