This past Saturday was the last of the Christmas get-togethers for me. I was blessed to get to spend a few hours with some of my children and grandchildren, three of them I had not seen in a very long time. It was kept secret and I didn’t know they would be at the gathering. I was overjoyed to see them.
My daughter prepared a beautiful table of food for everyone to enjoy. She was mindful of my need to have gluten free and much of the food I was able to eat and enjoy, We played games, laughed and had tons of fun. What I enjoyed the most though was being with my loved ones.
Christmas Eve my friend spent the day with me and we played Scrabble and enjoyed a good meal. I am so thankful for all she does for me.
I am thankful for the beautiful Christmas cards, phone calls and text messages wishing me a Merry and or blessed Christmas.
Thank you, to my wonderful, beautiful sister for all the laughs, tears, help, advise and love throughout the year. What in the world would I have done with out her. She solved some issues for me and I didn’t have to rely on YouTube or do a search to get the answer. :) She is always ready to lend an ear or shoulder when needed as I am for her.
Thank you to all my neighbors who watch over me and call or come by to see if I am okay or need anything.
Thank you to everyone that follows my blog. You are some of what made the year 2025 great for me. Thank you to those of you that have given me helpful information or advice. Thank you for the laughs, tears and prayers, they always seem to have come just when needed. I appreciate each and everyone of you and enjoy your blogs very much.
Not all of the year was good, there were some pretty rough bumps in the road, but with answered prayer and much help I made it through. All in all it was a very good year. Many unexpected blessings came along just when they were needed.
My heart is full of thanks and gratitude. I am looking forward to 2026 and the blessings to come.

we are so blessed to have you in our lives..all these years you have gotten me thru times i wasnt sure i would come thru but you were always there..thank you my sweetest Angel!!!! one of the times Jesse was 12 we has moved to colorado it was so cold and the gas co.wouldnt give me any propane it was 13 below..i hadnt got a work check..you sent us heaters and also i think it was thanksgiving you sent us a complete dinner..you were always there for me you saved Jesse and me..there are not enough thank you’s..i just hope you always know and feel the special love i have for you..

You have always been there for me too. You have been with me through some very sad and dark times for me. You always understand and know just what to do or say to help me. The song (our song) the hawks, your words, your prayers, your wisdom, your suggestions, the photos, and other things…you just always knew what to do, We were brought together for a reason and I treasure our relationship. What a blessing it is to now see Jesse all grown up and have a precious family. I do know the special love you have for me because I have a special love for you as well. We are very blessed.

What an uplifting post about your family and friends and the mention of blogging friends. I like it when blogging friends have a genuine place in our lives, for the many reasons we develop interest in them, their lives, hobbies, families, and how they spend their time. Hard to believe a year has passed again.
