Yesterday was just one of those days as I call them. For some unknown reason there are days that seem to hold several spills, drops and even a flip or two.
The morning began as usual until I was ready for a cup of coffee.

Coffee was in a puddle on the counter top. All was lost so that called for making another cup of coffee.
I have a single serve coffee maker and I had forgotten to put a cup on the pot. So with no cup, the coffee ran out onto the counter top.

It was time to have a midafternoon snack. I sat down and was ready to take my first bite. My hand hit the spoon handle and the spoon with the food flew up in the air and down to the floor. I laughed it was funny seeing the spoon fly up in the air. It seems I am pretty good at flipping spoons.

I was doing my usual things before going to bed. I sat a glass of water down on the counter. When reaching over to pick up something I hit the glass of water with my elbow.
The glass turned over and water spilled to the floor. That ended my day of spills, flips and drops. I made it to bed with no more cleaning up to do.
There were blessings in those spills, flips and drops. They were all very easily cleaned up.
Thank you to all who have visited my blog. Your likes and comments are appreciated. Hugs and blessings to you all.

Oh my, what a day you had! Itβs funny how everything seems to go topsy-turvy all at once sometimes. I love how you shared it with such humor and grace – especially the flying spoon moment! π I’m glad none of the spills caused real trouble, and you’re absolutely right: the blessings are in how easily things can be cleaned up. Sometimes it’s those little chaotic moments that remind us to laugh and let go. Thank you for the smile, and for always sharing with such heart. Hugs and blessings right back to you!
Side note: I received an email saying you had recommended my blog. I’m not exactly sure how that works, but thank you so much! I truly appreciate it.

Too funny! I don’t know how many times I have forgot the cup and ended up with a river and a “waterfall” of coffee running from the counter top onto the floor. I get it.π Thanks for the laugh from your flips and flops! God bless.

I’m right there with you, my friend. If we were together, we could take turns mopping up after each other.

Oh my goodness! I laughed so hard at your story and then shared it with my husband. Tongue in cheek he said, “That has NEVER happened here!” Yep! We have even started a full pot of coffee and heard the splatter start to hit the counter.
Glad all was well, and you had a good set of laughs!

I’ve done all of those things but you hold the prize for doing them all in one day.

My mishaps are few these days. Living alone, I’m not often in a hurry, and that prevents many accidents.

I can’t say that I get in a hurry, that doesn’t happen very often. I was out of my routine for making coffee so that accounts for the coffee spill. Not sure about the other two mishaps. I am glad you have figured out a way to have less accidents. Maybe one day I will get it all figured out.

This made me chuckle, Mags because we’ve all been there, but you had it all in one day and that’s a lot of spills! Probably the biggest spill I’ve ever had was the day I hoisted a full, 3 gallon water jug onto the top of the water dispenser and forgot the spigot was open. I heard water running and hitting the floor, but it took a second to figure out what was going on. Afterwards, I had a pretty clean kitchen floor. π

You gave me a chuckle too Barb. I have a very clean area on the counter, and we both ended up with clean kitchen floors. At least we had positive outcomes. :)

Flipping spoons: new Olympic game! As long as you were not flipping yourself, that is probably a win!

You made me laugh out loud until tears rolled. I guess I won since I didn’t flip myself. LOL

It has been a while since I last flipped myself head over heels backward on the hill when a bug flew into my eye. I definitely did not laugh, but if anyone had seen me, they would have.

Oh, my! I can understand why you would not laugh. I hope you were not injured.

I’m glad the coffee didn’t burn you, Mags! Two days ago, I hit my head on stuff three times. What are the cosmic meanings of such occurrences? π

John, it was all on the counter and I was in another room while it was running out of the pot. Bless your heart, John. Not good to be hitting your head. I hope you have no bumps or sore places. You take care of your head. :)
