My precious son-in-law’s hobby is searching for buried treasures. He has found some very old and interesting things. Some are worth something others are not.
When he and my daughter come to visit he always brings photos of what he has found to show me.
On one of his finds he found a large ring that sparkled and looked like it could be worth something. I thought it was a nice ring. He always researches information on items he finds. I asked him if the ring was worth anything. He said “No, it’s a piece of junk”.
When they came to visit on my birthday they brought me family pictures and a gift.
I opened the gift and laughed so hard tears rolled. I still laugh to this day when I see the gift or think about it.
My gift was the ring.
I love that they love to bring laughter to me. What a blessing.
Laughter is so good for us, I hope all of you have had some laughs today…if not maybe this post will give you a laugh.

I love that he gave it to me. I will never wear it, it is much too large and heavy. But it is a treasure to me because he gave me something he found on one of his treasure digs. Thanks for telling me about the book. I will check on it. Hugs
