Over half my life I have been blessed to love and care for sweet little ones that others threw away. No way can I show them all here but I will share a few.

This sweet little bunny found his way to our home. He brought us so much joy. He was a funny little guy and kept us laughing a lot. He got along very well with the other animals, especially one of the cats, they were best friends. He was looking under the bed for his friend. :)

This is DK he was not the only guinea pig that came to live with us. He was a funny little character and loved attention, he got a lot of that.
There were many other kinds of animals we loved and cared for.

This is only two of many, many dogs and cats that blessed us with their unconditional love. They were the last two animals that we shared our home and life with. Every sweet animal that lived with us is remembered and missed.

It was heartbreaking to learn that thousands of infants and children are abandoned and/or abused on a daily basis. The real heartbreaker was learning that some babies are actually thrown in the trash like they were garbage.
Being chosen to care for some of these precious ones taught me how to love in so many ways. Loving and letting go was the most difficult, but once I learned that those precious souls left my home better than when they came a feeling of fulfillment and joy came to me.

When I was a child I dreamed of having a loving husband, at least six children and a few pets. Never did I have any idea the Lord would bless me with way more than I dreamed of having.
Now that I am in my 80’s and look back over the years I can see even as a child I was being prepared for what my purpose in life was.
Find your purpose in life and fulfill it then you will have peace and joy.

Beautiful post Mags 🙂 I’ve been blessed to have many little pets in my life. Right now, I have a grumpy ol’ cat named Melon, who’s around 3 years now, and my dog Enzo, who simply dislikes Melon. 😂 Melon tends to get most of our attention sometimes, maybe that’s why…Love the moral, we should find our purpose in life, that’s what makes life meaningful

This is so beautiful, Mags. I love your heart for these discarded souls! I have rescued/adopted a few dogs and cats. They have made my life so much richer, giving back so much more than I could have hoped for :)

Thank you, for your kind words. Bless you Jean for taking in those sweeties. I learned so much from the animals and the children. We have no idea how much we can learn by just having love and compassion for other living beings.
