One thing I really love is ice cream. If it was healthy I think I could live by just eating and enjoying ice cream and little else.

Just now I thought of two little things that matters when it comes to ice cream.

It would be difficult to eat ice cream without a spoon or it being in a cone.
So today I thought of two more little things that matter.
I am thankful to those who invented the spoon and the cone so I and others can enjoy ice cream. Yum, yum!

I love ice cream, but since I’m lactose intolerant, I don’t have it often. I’ve gotten used to frozen yogurt instead. Some flavors actually taste like ice cream and are really good….

Frozen yogurt is good. I am glad you can enjoy it. Years ago there was a place near me that served frozen yogurt. I actually preferred it to ice cream. Keep enjoying the yogurt, willie.

I love ice cream too, Mags. And also frozen custard. You’ve made me hungry for a black raspberry sundae!

I have to stick with natural yoghurt now. The combination of milk and sugar affects me so ice cream enjoyment is a thing of the past for me.

What, gelato or ice cream?
There is a place in Port Aransas, Tx, that is a coffee bar/gelato/panini place! Its amazing and they rotate their flavors of gelato every week! There are always. 10 flavors to choose from. One of my favs is salted caramel, but I love coffee too!

That sounds so yummy. I love salted caramel. Häagen-Dazs gluten free ice cream and Talenti.

I am glad you have something you can enjoy. I can’t eat just any ice cream either. I have wheat and other food allergies so I eat the gluten free replacements for ice cream. I do okay now and then with a little Kosher ice cream,, but I can’t eat it often. I have been shocked at all of the things that have wheat in them.

Is it due to diverticulitis?
I have episodes of that too. Ever since I started drinking aloe juice, several sips a day -I have been regular and able to eat anything. It has to be flavored though. I like mango the best. Most of the dollar stores carry a brand, as does Publix and Walmart.

No, it is all due to the food allergies that I have. It is easier for me to be on a gluten free diet than to try to avoid what I should not eat. As long as I stay off gluten I do great. It is amazing how much better I feel. A lot of pain I had for years went away when I took gluten out of my diet. I am so happy for you that the aloe juice is helping you.

Wait, pain went away???
I’m on it! I can do gluten free, the only thing I’ll miss is bread!

Most of the arthritis pain (the arthritis pain that did not go away is off and on and mild compared to what it was) and pain that began after I had shoulder surgery that did not go away with therapy. I love bread and that is one of the things I miss the most. The gluten free bread just don’t do it for me.

Yeah, me either! Seems like I found a keto bread once, but all that “healthy” stuff is too expensive and I can’t afford it any more. I’d lose a few pounds if I made myself go back on keto.

I know. It is ridiculous what they charge for gluten free. or any special dietary needed foods.
