Feeding after some of the babies have ventured out of the nest.

All but one seem to be ready for some food. After the food arrived the other one quickly responded to it.

A few days after I was able to get this photo all four of the little ones successfully fledged.
That was one of the most exciting events I have ever witnessed in my bird watching. I was able to get a couple of photos of mama robin and the babies later in the backyard.
What happens in nature is absolutely amazing.

It really is, Mags. Love your photos. I put up a nest box when I moved into my home six years ago, hoping to at least attract a wren or two. To my joy and astonishment I attracted bluebirds! They average three clutches a year and a couple of times I’ve been blessed enough to watch them fledge! Mama Blue is sitting on her first eggs of the year right now :)

Oh, how wonderful. Blue birds are so beautiful. I see one or two every now and then. I am so happy for you that blue birds are nesting at your place.I am glad you enjoyed the photos. One year a wren nested in a wreath on the front porch. We used the other door to go in and out until the nest was empty. I didn’t get to see them hatch and fledge because I didn’t want to disturb mama and babies.
