Little things are not always positive. There are many little things that can and do cause harm. They do matter nonetheless. We should always think of others before we make choices.
One simple little word can easily be written or spoken that hurts other people.
A small pebble if picked up and thrown at someone can injure them.
When we judge a group of people by the actions of a few it causes pain for the ones that had no part in what the few did.
It doesn’t take much effort to pick up a can of paint and spray words on cars or homes. The pain and cost it brings to others is much larger than that little can of paint.
We need not only think of and remember the little things that matter…the big things matter too.
Choices we choose to make should be thought about seriously before acting on them. We should try our best always to do no harm or cause pain to others no matter how we feel about them. We will be judged by our actions not the actions of others.

So true, Mags. Even if they hurt us – deliberately or otherwise. That is on them. Nothing is gained by our upping the ante.

Amen 🙏🏼
Every action, big or small, carries weight.
As Christ taught, ‘Do to others as you would have them do to you’ Luke 6:31. Let love and wisdom guide our choices.

Sometimes attending to the little things are a way to avoid tackling the most important issues too so we need to be cautious of that.

You are so right, Sweet Sis. Small things can grow into thoughtless consequences. Think before you speak. Hugs

This is so true. It only takes a moment to pause and reflect if what we are going to say needs to be said. The older I get the more I understand this. I wish I had learned earlier in life. Thanks for this great reminder Mam Win! :)

You are welcome Kathryn. It is the same with me. I look back on my life at times and wish I had learned other things earlier.

Little stone thrown on water has ripple effects, no matter how small it is. Same with words, it brings impact. So, choose words that brings joy and encouragement. Let’s do it!
