I have been thinking of my past and some of the many things others did for me. There are far too many to list here. When I thanked them most would tell me it was not a big thing, but to me all of them were.
Someone picking up something I dropped and handing it to me had no idea it would have been painful for me to bend down to get it.
Someone allowing me to get in front of them in a long line at a crowded place when they had no idea my feet were hurting.
An unexpected gift of a camera for my computer. Someone I love very much lives many miles from me. The camera made it possible for us to see each other while talking. That gift came several years ago and still today when I think about it tears of joy well up in my eyes. A gift that made us both happy and meant a lot to both of us.
We may never know what little things we do for others can mean to them but, that should not keep us from doing them. It could be a real big thing to them and one they would never forget.
