Off and on I wonder what my life would be like if I had lived in a cabin in the woods all of my years.
With my love for animals, I feel certain that I would have had a special connection with many of the different kinds of animals that lived around me.
My yard and home have been filled with an assortment of great animals over the years but has been limited to only a few wild animals. If I lived in the woods with wild animals, I would give them their space and I feel sure they would give me mine and we would get along very well together.
It saddens me that construction in parts of our country have become so that it is taking up the wildlife territory and so much of the wildlife is being destroyed for reasons that is no fault of theirs.

In the name of construction and so called development so much is being destroyed all over the world.

You are right about that. It makes me sad that we are destroying animal habitats.

It’s a sad truth. But, I’m with you in living in the woods in the beautiful cabin. How fantastic.

The kind I would have liked to have lived in is not available now days. Not anywhere that I know of anyway in my area. At my age now I could not do it anyway.

I have faith that soon in your life, it will be realized, Win.

I think that would be nice when you are young and healthy enough to live the lifestyle as I was bought up on my father’s farms. But at my age being near city services is practical for me now.

Love this post, Sis. If I lived on the next hill over, I bet we would find plenty to talk about. Animals have always been in my life, but no wild ones. When I was little, I found a baby owl on the ground and took it to my best friend’s Mom. A vet tried to save it, but it was too weak from being exposed to the elements. I do wish more thought would be given to our wild critters, but I know that will never happen. Greed runs the world and ruins it for every living thing. Sending hugs and love your way Sweet Sister.

That would be so much fun if we had been able to live near each other in the woods. I am so sorry the owl did not make it, but proud of you for trying to save it. You are right about the greed, so sad money and fame takes the place of caring for living beings of all kinds. I get to see a few wild animals where I live but I would love to be able to see more. Sending love and hugs to you my Sweet Sister. Thank you for visiting and leaving a comment that I enjoyed reading very much.
