Today was a good day. Most of the snow melted and the wildlife was out in full force.
I watched two little squirrels chase each other all around the yard. Watching them reminded me of times that I enjoyed watching the children having fun with little things like a pile of sand, buckets and toy cars. It took so little back then for them to have fun.
I saw a tiny chickadee sitting in the middle of a holly bush. And heard other birds singing. Have you ever stopped and listened to all of the sounds in nature? The song of a cute little wren is beautiful and I always wonder how such an amazing sound can come from that little thing.
A wave from a stranger or even someone we know is a little thing but it can mean so much.
A nice man I had never met delivered my groceries today we didn’t say a lot of words, but what we did say meant a lot to both of us.
Little things can bring so much joy.
